EDITING SERVICES GUIDELINES

Thank you for purchasing Editing Services with Agathon University Press. Here are the steps for you to follow as Agathon prepares your manuscript: 

1. Submit your manuscript to Agathon in proper format.
   1. Manuscript should be 12 font, New Times Roman, single spaced (for books) and double spaced (for dissertations and theses).
   2. Manuscript should conform (as much as you are able) to Turabian or Chicago style, whichever you prefer your final manuscript to adhere (if you need to use another style, let us know when you submit your manuscript).
   3. Email your manuscript as a .docx with date of your payment to editor@exegeticapublishing.com.
   4. Provide your preferred contact info (email and/or mobile number for texting) so that our editor(s) can discuss the project with you. 

2. An Agathon Editor will review your manuscript and be in touch with you within 3 business days to discuss and begin the project.

Disclaimer: Agathon Editing Services edits only non-fiction works, dissertations, and theses. Agathon Editing Services reserves the right to refuse any manuscript for any reason. If your manuscript is rejected by Agathon Editing Services for any reason, we will promptly refund your payment in full.

3. Respond as quickly as you can to inquiries from your Agathon Editor(s) throughout the process, so that they can complete your project quickly and correctly. Also, keep in mind that Agathon intends not only to help you produce a refined manuscript, but also to help you develop greater skill at expressing your ideas in writing. Your responsiveness and willingness to dialogue (via email or text) helps us accomplish both goals.

4. Expect your manuscript to be finalized within 4-6 weeks, though less or more time may be needed depending upon manuscript length.
